LED strips are a great way to accent cars, homes or make unique projects. What makes strips great are the fact they are flexible. We offer LED strips that are only mm in thickness. Choose the color you want, as they come in all colors. Most of our LED strips are waterproof and very flexible for curved surfaces. 3M adhesive is already applied, simply pull the tape off and apply to a clean surface. It is important that any surface you apply to is cleaned with alcohol or windex.
RGB and choosing the right control box. We offer IR and RF controllers. RF means radio frequency while IR means Infrared. What does this mean to you? Ease of use. RF you can point the controller any direction, as you would say a garage opener. IR, works like a TV remote. You must aim it one direction at the sensor. If you take a TV remote and shine the opposite direction, your TV won't turn on. With RF, no matter what direction you point it will work. It uses radio signals not light signals.
Power supply needed or not? Power supply's also known as AC-DC transformers convert your house voltage that runs at AC 110-240V to 12V DC. Most LED products run at this voltage including the RGB control boxes. If you want to install strips in your house or business, you need this power supply. Some of our kits include it. If installing in your car or RV. You won't need it since vehicles run at 12-14V DC which is perfect for direct connection to the RGB controller or directly to our LED strips.
